Catherine M. (McNabb) Corbin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Catherine M. (McNabb) Corbin, age 71, of Middleborough.  Catherine passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, surrounded by her loved ones.

Catherine was born and raised in Somerville and was the daughter of the late Irene (Hutchings) McNabb.  She met the love of her life, Greg, and they were married on her birthday in 1971.  Catherine was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She cherished her family above all else and spent countless hours creating memories with her loved ones.

Catherine was a homemaker who raised her family with love and care.  She was also a dedicated school bus driver for children with disabilities for years, a role that she loved and took great pride in.  She had a passion for old television shows, especially The Three Stooges, The Golden Girls, and The Beverly Hillbillies.  She also enjoyed listening to songs by Elvis and Whitney Houston.  Catherine loved traveling and went on many exciting vacations, including cruises to Bermuda, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, and Alaska.  However, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored.

Catherine was the beloved wife of 52 years to Gregory "Greg" Corbin, Sr.; loving mother of Greg Corbin, Jr. & his wife Dawn of Pembroke, Keith Corbin of West Bridgewater, and Jill Corbin & her partner Tom Fitzpatrick of Plymouth; adoring grandmother of Sarah, Emma, Aiden, Megan, Ciera, and Liam; dear sister of Paula Baldessari of Pepperell.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.

All are invited to her funeral service at the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleborough, on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 10:30 AM.

Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Wood Street, Middleborough.
