Perry Ellsworth Little, Jr., age 83, of Middleborough, died on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at the Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleborough.
Born in Hampstead, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Perry & Esther (Evans) Little. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Germany where he met his future wife, Anna-Maria. Perry earned his Associate's Degree and became a nurse and respiratory therapist, working for years at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Brockton and later in the private sector. He was very active in the Town of Middleborough; serving on the Conservation Commission as well as the Disability Commission. He was also a member of the American Legion Post in Middleborough. Perry retired in 1996 due to health issues. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening.
Perry was the beloved husband of Anna-Maria (Mildner) Little for 58 years; loving father of Peter Little & his wife Jean of Crofton, Maryland, Evelyn Pupek & her husband Eric of Middleborough and Paul Little of Lakeville; cherished grandfather of Brendan, Christopher, Natalie, Jennifer, Patrick, Erica, Joseph, Katie and Sarah; dear brother of Fran Russell of Middleborough, Susan McGivern of Minnesota and the late Elizabeth Brikett, Evelyn Hudson and Mary Hovey.
Due to the current health crisis, funeral and interment services will be held at a later date.
