Richard A. Watson, age 76, of Middleborough, passed away of respiratory failure on Monday, May 25, 2020, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.
Born in Boston on October 3, 1943, he was the son of the late Richard & Mary (Hagg) Watson. Richard was a chef for many years, who eventually had his own successful restaurants in Pembroke, Carver and Middleborough.
Richard was such a ray of sunshine to all of the people he came into contact with. He had a very kind and gentle soul and was always giving to others.
Richard leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife, Barbara (Farrell) Watson; loving father of the late Christopher Watson; doting stepfather to Stephen, Colleen, Kimberly, David, Sherri and Donald. He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren, Joshua, Brooke, Nicholas, Matthew, Grace and Jordyn and one beautiful great-grandchild, Aubree. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
