Madelene C. (Winberg) Striemer, age 94, of Buzzards Bay, formerly of North Easton and Palmdale, California, died on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at the All American Assisted Living in Wareham.
Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late John & Clara (Johnson) Winberg. Madelene grew up in Brockton, attended public schools and graduated Brockton High School. She moved across the country to California and met her future husband, Edward at a church function. Madelene and Edward married and started their family. She kept herself busy as a homemaker and an artist. Madelene would not hesitate to drive across country from California to Vermont with friends. She was a giving woman, full of love and will be missed a great deal.
Madelene was the beloved wife of the late Edward Striemer; loving mother of Glenn Striemer of Texas, Christine Anderson & her husband Daniel of Lakeville, Eloise Lindquist of Lunenburg and Eric Striemer-Wynn & his husband Bill of Buzzards Bay; devoted grandmother of Philip, Peter and Christopher; great-grandmother of William, John and Ellsley; dear sister of the late Robert Winberg, Edna Johnson and Glenny Snow.
All are welcome to the Visiting Hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, from 4:00-6:00 PM. (LIMIT OF 25 PEOPLE INSIDE THE FUNERAL HOME)
