  • Pick up the deceased and transport them to the funeral home (anytime day or night)
  • Notify proper authorities
  • On call/ available 24 hours a day to respond to all inquiries
  • Populate, complete and file death certificates with designated parties (hospital, physicians, or the medical examiner) along with the town/city of death or residency
  • Provide certified copies of death certificates for insurance and benefit processing
  • Work with the insurance agent, Social Security or Veterans Administration to ensure that necessary paperwork is filed for receipt of benefits
  • Coordinate and submit obituaries to the newspapers and upload on our website
  • Bathe, embalm, and sanitize the deceased, if necessary
  • Prepare the deceased for viewing (dressing, handling, casketing and applying cosmetics)
  • Assist the families with individualized funeral arrangements (Burial or Cremation), purchase a casket, cemetery property, flowers, prayer cards, urn, vault and tour our establishment 
  • Schedule the opening + closing of the requested grave with cemetery personnel
  • Completion of all legally required forms and retaining permanent funeral records
  • Provide necessary automotive equipment such as a Hearse to the Cemetery, Hearse to the Crematory, Flower Car, Limousine and a Service/Utility Vehicle
  • Arrange with church and/or clergy if a service is to be held
  • Schedule a Police Escort and/or Military Honors for the family
  • Provide Staff & Equipment for visitation, funeral, graveside and memorial services
  • Order and carefully position flowers in the viewing chapel
  • Provide Aftercare, or grief assistance, to the bereaved
