Alex E. Moquin, age 59, of Middleborough, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at his home.
He was born and grew up in Middleborough. For many years, Alex worked as a machinist at TNCO in Whitman and most recently worked at Ametek Brookfield in Middleborough.
Alex was an avid hunter, hunting in Maine and going on an African Safari. He was a gun collector, a Star Trek enthusiast and truly loved his dog, Rodney.
Alex was the beloved son of Cyrena E. (Paquin) Moquin of Middleborough & the late Edward A. Moquin; loving brother of Lloyd Moquin of Middleborough, Tara Stickles & her husband Donald of Middleborough and the late Mark Moquin; devoted uncle of Amanda Stickles of Middleborough and Brennan Simmons of Taunton; best friend of Bob Frazier of Middleborough and Rodney Shaw of Maine.
Visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Sunday, January 13, 2019, from 3:00-7:00 PM.
Funeral services in the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleborough, on Monday, January 14, 2019, at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow at the Central Cemetery, Centre Street, Middleborough.
